Providing legal, strategic, and planning advice to start-ups and established businesses alike, Paul has substantial experience as a barrister at The 36 Group in London.
Paul acts for clients in a wide range of commercial and company law matters, using his deep practical understanding and experience in cyber and technology from his first career as an international management consultant, and is an expert in datafication, blockchain, smart contracts, virtual assets, personal data and privacy, as well as new technologies including the metaverse, biometrics and artificial intelligence.
Paul writes and speaks extensively on these new and emerging fields and is widely respected for his expertise in these areas. He is known for his keen analytical ability, pragmatic approach, and sharp focus on solving problems for clients. He regularly appears as sole counsel and has worked extensively with litigation funders and ATE insurers to secure funding for large civil claims and group actions. These include actions for the misuse of personal data and related rights violations where he is led by Kings Counsel.
Having studied law at the University of Oxford and the University of Law (LLB, LLM, BCL), Paul was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2018.
In addition to his practice as a barrister, Paul is developing a practice in international commercial arbitration.
